Labor Warranty
Roofing and Siding Replacements: All Replacements of roofing and siding products by JDH Remodeling carry a 5-year Workmanship or Labor Warranty. The warranty covers you against leaks or defects, due to workmanship, following the date contractor leaves the Property and has been paid in full. This does not include any skylights that were not replaced with the roofing system. The 5-year labor warranty is not transferable and pertains only to the owner of the property contracted at the time the work was completed. Should an issue or leak arise that is result of the workmanship, JDH Remodeling is not responsible for consequential damages. We are responsible for fixing the deficiencies in the workmanship related to our work only. However, in addition we will provide a 1-Time payment up to $200 for any interior damage resulting from workmanship within the 1st year of installation. State law requires a 1-year workmanship warranty, we are providing 5 years. The reason for the 1-year interior warranty is to provide you, the customer with additional peace of mind coverage. This additional interior warranty is based on the understanding that workmanship issues are generally exposed within the first year of installation given our seasonal changes and weather events.
Window and Door Replacements: All windows and door replaced by JDH Remodeling carry a 5-year Workmanship or Labor Warranty. The Warranty covers you against defects, due to workmanship, following the date contractor leaves the Property and has been paid in full. The 5-year labor warranty is nontransferable and pertains only to the owner of the property contracted at the time the work was completed. Should an issue arise that is result of the workmanship, JDH Remodeling is not responsible for consequential damages. We are responsible for fixing the deficiencies in our workmanship related to our work only.
Gutter and Gutter Guard Replacements: All gutter and guards replaced by JDH Remodeling will carry a 2-year Workmanship or Labor Warranty. The Warranty covers you against defects, due to workmanship, following the date contractor demobilizes from the Property and has been paid in full. The 2-year labor warranty is nontransferable and pertains only to the owner of the property contracted at the time the work was completed. Should an issue arise that is result of the workmanship, JDH Remodeling is not responsible for consequential damages. We are responsible for fixing the deficiencies in our workmanship related to our work only
Roof Repairs: Roof Repairs will carry a 1- Year workmanship warranty strictly limited to the surface area worked on. Repaired areas are documented in our system within each customers’ job profile. If anything should arise or additional service is needed in the future, we will maintain our data base to be able to refer back to previous repairs. Due to the nature of service work and dealing with aging products, products not installed by our installers, water intrusion issues are difficult to locate and can be coming from multiple locations or traveling before presenting at a particular location. Not all leaks are able to be pinpointed and several attempts may be needed to fully diagnose an issue.
Roof Restores: Roof Restores will carry a 5-Year workmanship as well as a 5-Certification on the entire roof. Roof Restore is a much more than a repair and acts to extend the life of the roofing system in large. Restores will be noted on the contact vs. any repair.
**Note** With either a repair or restore shingles will rarely match the existing product on the roof. Older shingles may wear differently, subtle changes to manufacturers color blends and exposure to the elements will lead to color variance.
SIDING REPAIRS: All siding repairs carry a 1-Year workmanship warranty. Due to the nature of service work, filling in pieces or not removing all interlocking siding panels to complete a repair or not having been the original installer of siding, fascia, soffit or other exterior cladding materials, full areas or longer workmanship coverage cannot be provided.
**NOTE** When making repairs to siding, fascia, soffit, or any other components, an exact match is rare. Due to availability of products, profiles manufacturer changes as well as exposure to the elements.
